I was on Gaia Online in one of the guilds devoted to adults and saw a thread about builds in WoW.
I'm wondering about some of the truly epic builds you've made/seen on CoH, and what made them so. What are the powers that make an ideal build for you. and how well do they compliment your game play?
Also what are some of the stranger builds you've seen/made on CoH? Did they still work pretty well for you? Were they really hard to play?
I still haven't played enough builds for much of an opinion on this, myself. I usually play either scappers or tanks, since I don't mind going toe to toe with enemies. However I was playing one of my blasters a couple of days ago, and I enjoyed it so much, I made a mental note to play her more often. She's the Elsie Dracona toon with the long bow/power blast build. I've also got fitness on her, since she's supposed to be an amazon type character. I usually assign powers according to what a toon's character is supposed to be as well as keeping in mind how much Endurance I use and Health I lose while fighting baddies. Vellum is kind of ninja like, so I gave him Concealment along with Fitness (to cut down on the Endurance usage of the Dark Armor).
